We had an interview!

David and I walked into Mr. Fountain's counseling center with a purpose. We were gonna get his feedback about our idea to help relive stress in teenagers here at PV. We've been bouncing ideas from some kind of app to connect with an anonymous stranger for support, to a better way of communicating with the counselors, to some magical soma pill to make people mindlessly happy. Mr. Fountain was very helpful talking to us. He shot down our ideas, especially the anonymity of it because he thought that understanding the context of who you are talking to is very important. We asked him a lot of questions about the different roles of being a school counslor and a paid therapist and he believes that they overlapped in a lot of ways. We talked a lot about how the counslors are here to help the students, not get them in trouble and he doesn't think that people really believe that. Possible future for this project, defeating the negative stigma agains the counceling center.
